Jennifer Lau - Eisenhower Elementary
The grant purchased wobbly stools for her classroom. She hopes the stools will help with hyperactivity and attention issues in her classroom. The flexible seating will also enrich the learning environment in her classroom.

Grant purchases a sand and water table for Early Childhood Developmentally Delayed Classroom. The center is used for students to work on fine motor skills.
Jodi Przybylski - Durant-Tuuri-Mott Elementary
Grant purchases a light table and accessories for 36 students to assist with Math and Science Skills in an Early Childhood Developmentally Delayed Classroom.
Holly Selesky - Potter Elementary
Grant Purchased math and science games for her classroom. The premade games alloe the students to work independantly in groups. They will be able to review skills and learn new skills while having fun.
Lee Dodge - Potter Elementary
The grant provided two second grade classrooms Science and Social Studies trips to the Cultural Center. Students were involved in life and physical science enhancemnts along with learning about their community. The trips and lessons are aligned with second grade standards in both Science and Social Studies.
Paula Gibson - Neithercut Elementary
Thirty-two fourth and fifth graders will interact with newly released chapter books in literature circles. They will discuss story elements and the meaning with others in their group. At the end of the project, they will have an Academy Awards type celebration. At that time, the students will be able to select books for their home libraries.
Shelbi Redman - Freeman Elementary
The grant purchased lower level items for flexible seating in the classroom. Included was lap desks, chairs, and bean bags to add to existing flexible seating in order to best meet the individual needs of her students.
LaNeice Jackson - Neithercut Elementary
The grant covers a classroom conversion to flexible seating. This provides help with stimulation, comfort, academic, and social growth. Beanbags, soft seats, wobble stools, and other soft seats were included.
Donna Millikin - Holmes STEM Academy
The grant provides rockers, bean bags, rocking stools, wiggly cushions, lap desks, and a leaning carpet in the classroom along with existing dining room furniture. Research shows that engagement increased when students have a choice of seating.
Kathy Savoie - Freeman Elementary
Grant provided supplies for 75-90 students to build a marble run out of cardboard and any other materials they find suitable. The goal was to design a board that will make the marble reach the finish line last. At the end of the project students presented to the entire school.
